Using TileTide

These terms explain using TileTide, locally stored game progress, app licensing and your rights.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use apply to TileTide for iPhone (the “App”), developed and operated under the OPEXPER name (“we”, “our” or “us”). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Read these terms together with the TileTide Privacy Policy and the licence applicable to your App Store download.

2. About TileTide

TileTide is an offline puzzle game with Numbers, Pictures and Colours puzzles. You can choose puzzle options and difficulty levels, and review completed games, personal bests and milestones in My Progress.
Version 1.0 works without an account or internet connection for gameplay. Your game history and preferences are stored on your device. The app does not include advertising, analytics, tracking or AI services.

3. App Store licence

Your App Store download is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement unless a custom licence is supplied with the download. These terms provide additional information about TileTide and do not replace the applicable app licence or Apple’s App Store conditions.
Your permission to install and use the App, and any restrictions on redistribution or transfer, are governed by the applicable licence. Mandatory legal rights and any exceptions permitted by law remain unaffected.

4. Responsible use

Use TileTide only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the applicable app licence. Do not use the App or its content to infringe another person’s intellectual property or other rights.
Do not interfere with the App’s operation or attempt unauthorised access to related services. Restrictions on copying, modification and reverse engineering are subject to the applicable licence, open-source licences where relevant, and exceptions permitted by law.
Play when it is safe to do so and remain aware of your surroundings. Parents and guardians should supervise children’s downloads, purchases and visits to external websites where appropriate.

5. Game progress and local storage

My Progress records completed games, including puzzle details, completion dates, elapsed times and move counts, to display your history, best results and milestones. Unfinished puzzles are not saved across app restarts.
TileTide is not a cloud storage or backup service. OPEXPER does not receive your locally stored game history and cannot recover it from your device. Device loss, deletion, restoration or technical faults may affect saved results.
Using Delete App removes local app data. Offloading can retain data. Apple or computer backups and device transfers may include app data, depending on your settings; those copies must be managed separately. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Progress displays are intended for your personal enjoyment. We do not promise a particular score, completion time or learning outcome. This does not limit any rights you have if the App is faulty or does not match its description.

6. Intellectual property

The App’s software, design, branding, puzzle artwork and other included content belong to OPEXPER or their respective owners and licensors. Downloading the App does not transfer ownership of those materials to you.
You may use the App and its content as permitted by the applicable licence and law. These terms do not grant a separate right to sell, distribute or reuse OPEXPER branding or app assets.

7. Purchases and Apple services

Any download price and purchase conditions are shown in the App Store before purchase. Apple handles App Store payments under its own terms. These terms do not set a price or introduce a subscription.
Use Apple’s available purchase-support and refund-request process for App Store transactions. Any rights or remedies you have under applicable consumer law remain available and are not replaced by Apple’s process.
Apple’s device, backup and other services are governed by their own terms and settings.

8. Privacy and external websites

The TileTide Privacy Policy explains the information stored locally, device backups, deletion and support. It forms the separate notice describing our data practices.
Opening Support or an online policy takes you to the OPEXPER website in your browser. Website policies apply to that visit and to information you choose to submit. TileTide does not attach your game history to a support request.

9. Availability, updates and compatibility

Check the App Store listing for the device and operating-system requirements of the version available to you. Features and compatibility may change between versions.
We aim to provide a reliable app but cannot promise that operation will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not promise the delivery of unreleased features. Updates, changes or withdrawal remain subject to applicable consumer rights and contractual obligations.

10. Responsibility and consumer rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. This includes applicable statutory rights concerning digital content, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If the App is faulty or not as described, you may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or other remedy depending on the applicable law and circumstances. Contact us through the Support Hub so that we can investigate.
These supplemental terms impose no additional monetary limit on liability. Any provisions of the applicable app licence remain subject to mandatory law.

11. Stopping use and changes to these terms

You may stop using TileTide at any time. The applicable app licence governs termination of your licence. The Privacy Policy explains the effect of deleting or offloading the App and managing backups.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the App or applicable requirements. Updated terms will show a revised date on this page. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights you have already acquired. We will provide any notice or seek any agreement required by law.

12. Questions and disputes

For questions about these terms or help with TileTide, contact OPEXPER using the Support Hub linked below and select TileTide. Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive information in your message.
These terms do not impose an additional exclusive court or governing-law requirement. Nothing in them removes mandatory protections or rights to bring a claim available under the law applicable to you.
