Mobile as the starting point
The project brief identifies approximately 90% of visitors as mobile users. The transformation prioritises phone-sized browsing, readable information and a clear route from a social visit to an enquiry.

EVENTS & EXPERIENCES / Pump It Up Parties
Pump It Up Parties attracts visitors through social platforms including Instagram and TikTok. With approximately 90% of users arriving on a mobile device, the transformation starts with the phone experience: from the first impression to browsing options and making an enquiry.
Website transformation in development
THE FOCUS
THE EXPERIENCE
From a WordPress website to an experience shaped around how social visitors browse and plan on their phones.
THE STORY
The starting point was the audience. Pump It Up Parties focuses on traffic from Instagram, TikTok and other social channels. The project brief put the mobile share at approximately 90%, making mobile-first design a core requirement for the whole transformation.
Someone arriving from a social post needs to connect the experience they have just seen with the party they want to plan. The phone journey therefore takes priority: clear information, manageable choices and a useful next step, presented within a small screen. Desktop remains part of the experience, but the design decisions start with mobile.
The move away from WordPress is part of that wider rethink. The developing catalogue connects discovery with selection and enquiry, while the energetic identity carries through from the first impression. Wedding content takes a different tone, allowing the same business to speak appropriately to a different occasion.
WORDPRESS MIGRATION
This project began with a WordPress website and has moved away from that framework. The change creates an opportunity to shape the website around its own content, visitor journeys and brand. Migration is part of the transformation described here; individual experiences may still be in development.
DESIGN SHOWCASE
Space for the design in context, from the desktop experience to the details on mobile.
BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE
The project brief identifies approximately 90% of visitors as mobile users. The transformation prioritises phone-sized browsing, readable information and a clear route from a social visit to an enquiry.
The developing party catalogue includes search, category filtering and alternative browsing views, helping visitors work through the available options.
The party builder connects selected items with the enquiry journey. Wedding enquiries have their own presentation, reflecting the different tone of that occasion.
BEYOND THE WEBSITE
The website can become a useful foundation for wider event marketing. These are possible next steps to explore with the business, rather than completed deliverables.
