These terms explain using FindMyBox, your inventory and photos, optional iCloud sync, backups, app licensing and your rights.
1. About these terms
These Terms of Use apply to FindMyBox for iPhone and iPad, developed and operated under the OPEXPER name (“we”, “our” or “us”). Read them together with the FindMyBox Privacy Policy and the licence applicable to your App Store download.
For questions or help, use the OPEXPER Support Hub linked below and select FindMyBox.
2. App Store licence
Your App Store download is subject to Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement unless a custom licence is supplied with it. These terms provide additional information about FindMyBox and do not replace the applicable app licence or Apple’s App Store conditions.
The applicable licence governs your permission to install and use the app. Mandatory legal rights and exceptions permitted by law remain unaffected.
3. What FindMyBox does
FindMyBox helps you record boxes and contents, organise rooms and storage locations, add photos, search belongings, print QR labels and packing slips, and record loading and delivery progress.
Transport Tracking records actions you make in the app. It is not a GPS tracker, live carrier tracking service, proof of delivery service, insurance valuation or guarantee of the whereabouts, condition or safety of belongings.
QR labels identify matching records available in your app. A label does not contain a backup of the box’s contents. Keep the relevant inventory available on the device you use to scan.
4. Responsible use and accurate records
Use FindMyBox lawfully and only with information and images you are entitled to use. Respect other people’s privacy and intellectual property rights. Do not attempt unauthorised access to related services.
Check quantities, labels, assignments and loading or delivery records before relying on them. Reprint documents when their visible information becomes outdated. The app reflects the records you enter and does not physically verify your belongings.
Use the camera and scanning functions only when safe. Do not operate the app while driving or while handling a load that requires your full attention.
5. Your content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of your inventory information, photos and other content. Saving content in FindMyBox does not transfer ownership to OPEXPER. You are responsible for having any permissions necessary to store, photograph, print or share it.
The app’s software, design and branding belong to OPEXPER or their respective owners and licensors. Your rights to use these materials are governed by the applicable licence and law.
6. Storage, iCloud and backups
FindMyBox stores data on your device by default. Optional iCloud Sync uses your private Apple Account to keep supported records available across your devices. Sync depends on Apple’s services, connectivity, settings and storage availability; changes may not appear immediately.
Sync changes take effect after the app reopens. Changes and deletions can sync across devices. Turning sync off does not itself remove previously synced cloud data.
Keep independent backups of important records. Sync is not a historical backup. A FindMyBox backup contains the data and photos available on the exporting device and is not encrypted by the app; store and share it securely.
Restoring a backup replaces the current app data, and that replacement can sync when iCloud Sync is active. Review the confirmation carefully before restoring or deleting data.
Device loss, deletion, restoration or technical faults can affect access to records. OPEXPER cannot recover records held only on your device or in your private iCloud account. These practical limitations do not remove any legal responsibility or remedy.
7. Printing, sharing and external services
You choose the documents and backup files you print, save or share. Review their contents and recipients first. Printed labels and packing slips may expose information to anyone who can see them.
Apple, printers, file providers and other services have their own terms and privacy arrangements. Opening online support or policies takes you to the OPEXPER website, where the website policies apply.
8. Purchases
Any download price and purchase conditions are shown in the App Store before purchase. Apple handles App Store payments under its own terms. These terms do not set a price or introduce a subscription.
Use Apple’s available purchase-support and refund-request process for App Store transactions. Applicable consumer rights and remedies remain available and are not replaced by that process.
9. Availability and updates
Check the App Store listing for supported devices, operating-system requirements and features of the version available to you. Features and compatibility may change between versions.
We aim to provide a useful, reliable app but cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation or the delivery of unreleased features. Any updates, changes or withdrawal remain subject to applicable consumer rights and contractual obligations.
10. Responsibility and consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer rights, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.
If the app is faulty or not as described, remedies may be available under the law applicable to you. Contact OPEXPER through the Support Hub so that we can investigate.
These supplemental terms impose no additional monetary limit on liability. Provisions of the applicable app licence remain subject to mandatory law.
11. Stopping use, changes and disputes
You may stop using FindMyBox at any time. The applicable app licence governs termination. The Privacy Policy explains deletion, offloading, cloud copies and independent backups.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. Revised terms will show an updated date. Changes do not retrospectively remove accrued rights; any legally required notice or agreement will be provided.
These terms do not impose an additional exclusive court or governing-law requirement. Mandatory protections and rights to bring a claim under the law applicable to you remain unaffected.
