Nextpoint is a teleprompter for preparing and reading your own scripts. These terms explain responsible use, your content and the relationship with Apple’s app licence.
1. About these terms
These terms concern Nextpoint: Teleprompter for iPhone and iPad, developed under the OPEXPER name. The legal operator and contact details are awaiting confirmation before these terms are finalised.
Read these terms together with the app’s Privacy Policy and the licence applicable to your App Store download.
2. App Store licence
Apps obtained through the App Store are subject to Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement unless a custom licence is supplied with the app. These terms supplement the applicable licence and do not replace Apple’s App Store conditions or your mandatory legal rights.
The applicable app licence governs the scope of your permission to install and use Nextpoint. Where these terms conflict with mandatory law or the applicable licence, those requirements take priority.
3. Using Nextpoint
Nextpoint helps you write, import, save and read scripts with automatic scrolling. You control the words, text size, pace and reading appearance.
Use the app lawfully. Do not use it to infringe another person’s copyright, privacy or other rights, or to facilitate unlawful activity. Restrictions on modifying or reverse engineering the app remain subject to the applicable licence and exceptions permitted by law.
Keep your attention on your surroundings. Do not operate the reader while driving or doing another activity that requires your full attention.
4. Your scripts and intellectual property
You retain ownership of your scripts and other content. You are responsible for having the permissions needed to import, use and present that content.
Saving a script in Nextpoint does not transfer its ownership to OPEXPER. The app stores your content locally to provide its editing, library and reading functions.
The application’s software, branding and design belong to their respective owners or licensors. These terms do not grant rights to use OPEXPER or third-party branding beyond what is permitted by law or the applicable licence.
5. Local storage and your copies
Keep independent copies of important scripts. Nextpoint is not a cloud storage or backup service. We cannot recover content held only on your device.
The current app keeps saved revisions as separate entries and does not provide individual library-entry deletion. Editing a script does not remove its earlier entries. Deleting the app removes local app data; offloading retains it. Separate original files and backups must be managed separately.
Device loss, app deletion, restore operations or technical faults can affect access to local content. Nothing in this section removes any responsibility or remedy that the law requires.
6. Availability and future changes
Features and compatibility may change between versions. Check the App Store listing for the requirements and features of the version available to you.
We aim to provide a useful, reliable app but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, a particular presentation outcome, or delivery of an unreleased feature. Any update or withdrawal remains subject to applicable consumer rights and contractual obligations.
7. Purchases and Apple services
Any price for downloading Nextpoint is shown in the App Store before you buy. Apple handles App Store payment processing; the app does not receive your payment-card details.
Purchase conditions and available refund requests are governed by the applicable Apple terms and consumer law. These terms do not promise a particular price or introduce a subscription.
Apple’s file providers, backup services and other external services have their own terms.
8. Privacy
The Nextpoint Privacy Policy explains local storage, file import, device backups and deletion. Website browsing is covered separately by the OPEXPER website’s policies.
9. Responsibility and consumer rights
You are responsible for checking your script and choosing a suitable reading pace before relying on the app in a presentation. Speaking-time estimates are guidance, not guarantees.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer remedies, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. No additional monetary liability cap is imposed by these supplemental terms.
10. Stopping use and changes to these terms
You may stop using Nextpoint at any time. The applicable app licence governs termination of your licence. See the Privacy Policy for the effect of deleting or offloading the app and managing backups.
We may update these terms to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. The revised date will appear above. Updates do not retrospectively remove accrued rights; any notice or agreement required by law will be provided.
11. Questions and disputes
The operator’s legal identity and working contact route will be inserted here before these terms are finalised. No additional exclusive court or governing-law clause is designated in this draft. Mandatory rights available where you live remain unaffected.
